IsaacIvan Posted July 24, 2015 Share Posted July 24, 2015 Being able to align a group of images and merge them using a median pixel method is essential for astrophotography. Ideally support for dark and flat frames would be nice - but align layers and median merge is a great start and a great deal easier to implement I'd imagine. Both are also very useful for other types of photography and somewhat of a replacement for the middling denoise available in Affinity Photo. As it is, I have to import some pictures into Photoshop, align them, save the PSD and then open in Affinity Photo. Unnecessary extra steps, IMO.
