My actual working version of Affinity Photo is 1.8.0.585.

I am trying to update to last version 1.8.3. but setup fails. Tried also 1.8.2 with the same result.

I am on Windows 10 Pro up to date with all recommended updates.I have even restarted Windows and tried the installation again, but no success.

Please help.

Please try the suggestions in https://affin.co/WinSetupFailed and see if they help. If they don't get it working, the Setup.log and SetupUI.log files may have some hints that will give further information.

Hi, is there any possibility to have a full installation file for the last version? I was trying without success to upgrade my installation so I have uninstalled my current version. My initial order is Order Number: AL93K2R70F. Updates worked fine all the time till the version 1.8.2 when it sopped installing and starting giving failure report.

Please help!

If you ordered the Windows version of Affinity Photo from the Affinity Store, you can download the current version and older versions via the following link:

Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro
Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)

If you're on Windows, the installation files are full installations.

If you're getting Setup Failed, please try all the suggestions in https://affin.co/WinSetupFailed which have helped many Windows users. If you're unsuccessful with those, you can then share the Setup.log and SetupUI.log files which will have more information.

Finally....

1. Restart
2. run: Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter (Attempting to resolve problems with Affinity Photo uninstall)
3. run: affinity-photo-1.8.3.exe as System Administrator
message on splash screen "Update" instead of "Install"
    click on Update
    Starts the installation....Setup complete..
    Activate..with my license...

It works again... Thank you for support !
