Greetings,

Why when you copy text from a pdf document in Publisher and paste in another page each line of text is in its own text box instead of the entire text as it was originally copied & pasted? It makes it very difficult to edit.

How are you copying the text? I just tried with a PDF brochure I was setting up that had a lot of text. I selected the text in Acrobat DC, copied and pasted into a blank publisher document. All the text pasted in as you would expect in 1 text box.

What PDF viewer are you using? Are you selecting the text or a text box in your PDF viewer and copying that?

Okay, so what I have been doing is importing my pdf in publisher and then trying to copy. I guess thats not the way to do it, however in page plus I was able to append a pdf to the end of my page plus document.

All I did was copy a paragraph of text from a PDF I made with InDesign, made a new document, and pasted the text perfectly. Can you go step by step what you did then others can try the same and see if it is repeatable.
