Daston
Recently purchased Affinity. I am unable to locate the program to open it on my imac? Looked in the finder, applications, and nothing. I looked around in other folders, and I am unable to locate the program on my computer?
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forms, @Daston. On a Mac you might have purchased one of the Affinity applications from either the Serif Affinity Store (https://affinity.store) or from the Mac App Store. Which store did you use, and which application did you purchase? If you purchased directly from Serif, you would need to download and install the program. I think you would have gotten an email with the information needed to download and install it. But if you purchased from the Mac App Store I think the installation would have been automatic. markw
Have you tried using Spotlight to find it? Accessible via the Magnifying Glass icon top right of your screen or in any Finder window. h_d
Did you check both Applications folders? There is one under your user account (Macintosh HD/Users/yourname/Applications/) and the main system-wide folder at Macintosh HD/Applications/. Normally applications are installed in the latter. Alternatively, can you use Spotlight to find it? ( @markw posted while I was typing this). Which "Affinity" did you buy? Publisher, Photo or Designer? And from where - the App Store or direct from the Affinity website? Cheers, H Quote Affinity Photo 2.0.3, Affinity Designer 2.0.3, Affinity Publisher 2.0.3, Mac OSX 13, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel. Daston
I purchased it on the website at affinity.serif.com. I was able to find it with spotlight. Wasn't located in the affinity folder. Thank you ALL for your help. I greatly appreciate it!!
