TaevuuTiku
Hello, I don’t understand, why Affinity Photo Windows (1.8.3.641) can not or don’t recognize HDR-DNG files? Only Lightroom can read this type of files.. Hillar R0020508_HDR.DNG
IanSG
Affinity Photo uses Libraw to handle RAW files, and Libraw doesn't support the Theta Z1. Searching for HDR-DNG gives the impression that nobody's particularly interested in it! My assumption would be that LR support is provided by the same code that's included in Adobe's DNG converter - freely available and it handled your sample file OK, though it was very underexposed. AHagert
Has there been any change on this? I work with 360 files and this is a big deal. I just tried it and got the same results as Taevuu.
Chadwicks3d
is there a way to edit the HDR-DNG files from the theta Z1 camera in affinity photo ?
Staff Dan C Posted February 1, 2021 Staff Share Posted February 1, 2021 Hi @AHagert & @Chadwicks3d, Welcome to the forums Unfortunately Affinity Photo still doesn't have support for the Theta Z1 currently, my apologies. Version 1.9 is currently in the beta phase, however I have checked support for these RAW files in the latest beta and unfortunately this isn't listed as a supported camera for this update - As for a workaround, have you tried using the Adobe DNG convertor that IanSG linked in their above post?
