Importing PDF comments

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm loving the Affinity products, great job!

One of the features I use the most on InDeign is "Import PDF comments", which saves me A TON of time. My clients add their "replace text", "delete text" or "insert text" and InDesign offers the option to "accept" the correction and applies it immediately (as opposed to my previous approach: copy the text on Adobe Reader and pasting in InDesign).

I haven't found anything online on this feature on Affinity. Are you considering adding this feature?

Thanks a keep up the good work! I'm spreading the word around my circle and people are responding very well to Affinity!

Hi, it seems to me that nobady has not replied yet. This InDesign´s "Import PDF comments", would be great to have. Would be nice to hear from Affinity! The Affinity Publisher is a great product!!!

The Serif team generally does not comment on feature requests. They use them for planning purposes, but do not discuss them nor reveal any potential future plans.

+1 for this request... I get pdfs of garden plans with comments annotated over, with additional things like marks for edits and view points for visualisations also noted down. I need a way of converting these pdf images with their notes included into importable jpegs or pngs for the modelling software. Alas Affinity doesn't import any pdf comments or lines, and leaves me no option other than going to use another piece of software to fill in.
