If you had the product installed previously, your system probably just remembered the product key you entered previously. (Or, if you purchased from the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store originally, you don't have a key anyway; only the Serif Affinity Store uses product keys.) If you retained any data from your PC, or restored any backed-up data, you probably retained the product key you entered before.
