Canon EOS R CR3 conversion gives poor results

Recommended Posts

If Canon EOS-R .CR3 RAW files are imported in Affinity Photo (here tested on version 1.8.3.641) the imported files look dull, having a purple flare all over the image, and the right margin is underexposed by 2 to 3 stops.

Please see some samples (original .CR3 files and printscreens) of the files in Affinity Photo, comparing them to the .CR3 files from Canon EOS M50 (which look fine) here:

You can download all files, please feel free.

And of course you can follow my discussion about this topic on Facebook in the (closed) Canon EOS R usergroup, see here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/421157698288581/744588459278835/?comment_id=744605112610503&reply_comment_id=744633389274342&notif_id=1586770268712221&notif_t=group_comment

Thank you.

Atenciosamente,
