Erica Posted April 12, 2020 Share Posted April 12, 2020 Hello, I have not been able to install any version of Affinity since 1.7.2. I finally have decided to spend time to deal MSI47d7f.LOGwith this issue, and downloaded 1.8.3 and predictably, it gave me the message "Setup Failed" only a few seconds after running the installer. I've seen in other user posts about the same issue that the log file was requested doing the following "enter the following %temp% \AffinitySetup into the run box and click ok. This should open a folder, with some other folders in. Open the latest folder and there should be 2 log files, Setup.log and SetupUI.log." You may need to follow the instructions in the FAQ entry at https://affin.co/WinSetupFailed In particular, given the content of that log file, you probably need to run the Microsoft Uninstall Troubleshooter that it mentions. Then restart Windows, then right-click on the installer file and choose Run As Administrator.
