Create Selection from Luminance

Looking to find the "create selection from luminance" (alt-ctrl click on layer thumbnail) on the iPad version of Photo.  Any clues ?

There is no way to do this on iPad at the moment I'm afraid.

@Callum, thanks for taking the time to respond.  For a black and white layer can I not just "load to pixel selection" from one of the RGB channels ?  Also, research has shown this missing feature was identified long ago.  Are there plans to add this capability to the iPad version ?

@smadell created a macros file that creates selections based on luminosity. Perhaps that could help or point in right direction. Macro attached below.

Using out of the box functions:

1. Create channel mixer adjustment
2. set to lab mode
3. select alpha channel
4. Set L participation to 100%. Set alpha participation  to 0. save as preset for later reuse, to skip steps 1-3 by adding channel mixer from preset
5. use channels panel
6. load composite alpha channel to pixel selection
7. delete / deactivate channels mixer when done
