Washound
I've exported a document with a spot colour and selected "honour spot colour" in the export panel, but the swatch does not display in the colour bars in the PDF?
thomaso
Can you upload your .afpup with spot swatches (with or without page content) to reconstruct the issue? Where/with what app did you look for spot colors in the PDF? Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
Washound
I looked for the swatch in the exported colour bars in Apple Preview. spot-colour-issue.afpub spot-colour-issue.pdf
thomaso
I doubt you will get spot colors in these default print mark/color bar area. In my understanding these color bars are, like print marks in general, ready made items which just are placed and customized only in their position. Have you ever got them in a DTP application? Maybe with a print providers imposition software one can also place color bars for spot colors, automatically or manually. If APub will enable user access to the slug area you might be able to use it for a custom color bar. Washound
Man, I was sure the spot colour swatch shows in the colour bars. Would be a nice feature, but I'll keep looking into it.
Wosven
No, it's a specific set of colours, I'm not sure it's usefull since it's not in our export settings at work. APub.pdf inDesign.pdf
