Measuring guides for Interface design

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I use Affinity Designer more and more often for a wide variety of projects, and currently for a second extensive interface project. Unfortunately, I can't find a "fast and effective" way to measure everything for positions that the developers need in order to efficiently convert this into code. Now I have seen that there is already a kind of measuring tool: https://affinity.help/designer/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/DesignAids/measuring.html?title=Measuring guides
That's great, but unfortunately you cannot make the measurement permanently visible.
Therefore my suggestion: Select the objects to which you need distances (top bottom left right) and the proportions (width and height) and press the right mouse button > Show Measurements in New Layer. Done. Best with open text and contours, then we can color it individually and all web and interface designers will love you even more 😋

so long
