Hello, I'm new to Affinity Designer so please excuse me if I'm missing something obvious but I have two issues after downloading Christi's Comic Toolbox from the Affinity store:

1: Although Designer says I have imported 36 brushes, I can't see them anywhere, i.e. in the brushes menu. I assumed they'd be added as their own category, or distributed among the existing categories as relevant but can't see them anywhere.

2: Designer won't let me import or open the assets pack and says it isn't an Affinity document. (pic of the message attached)

Any help appreciated.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

1. The brushes are raster brushes. You will find them in the Pixel Persona (image.png.ef89b03794b1af57593fc085e82e2e5e.png), but not in the Designer Persona.

2. Open the Assets studio panel (View > Studio > Assets if it's not already open). Then click on the burger menu to the right of the Assets tab name, and choose Import Assets...

Edit: That's all covered, by the way, in the Installation Guide that came with your purchase :)

If you didn't download those resources, too, you can find them at https://affinity.store/account/downloads

Welcome @DancesWithStaffies. Although @walt.farrell has quickly answered your question, for the future you are likely to get a better response if you give your posting a meaningful title. In ths case I would suggest: "Problem importing  brushes into Designer".  It does help if you mention the specific app where you are having trouble, in this case, Designer. You can abbreviate to AP, AD OR APub if you wish

You can change the topic title for the current thread (or, indeed, any thread started by you, as long as it hasn’t been locked by a moderator) by editing your original post.
