Josh626394 Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Hi there, In PagePlus X9, it was possible to move any column and row guide added to a page, on the fly. Is this same function possible on Affinity Publisher? I understand you can set up ruler guides and move those ad hoc, but I'm looking to adjust column guides as and when I need to. Many thanks, Quote
firstdefence Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 just mouse over the gutter area between the columns and you will get a two-headed arrow click, hold and drag the gutter position where you like. Greg E Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 This appears not to be true in APub. The help indicates that only balanced columns can be created this way. If you create a multicolumn text frame, however, you can make asymmetric columns, either by typing widths into the dialog box, or by dragging the gutter, as you would in PagePlus. I am a new Publisher user, having used PagePlus for the last year or so. I am trying to transition several publications (an eight page monthly newsletter, and a 30+ page phone directory). It has been a bit of a struggle, but ultimately I have not found anything that cannot be done. Quote
