Here's something fun (OK, yes, I'm easily amused) that probably shouldn't be possible:

  1. Create a line using the Pen Tool.
  2. Create a text frame, put some Heading 1 text, some Heading 2 text, and some Body text in it.
  3. Switch to the Artistic Text Tool, and click on the line, to make it a (Curve Path Text) object.
  4. Then, Text > Table of Contents > Insert Table of Contents.

You now have a TOC running around your line.

I don't think there's any use for this. Perhaps it shouldn't be allowed? (I'd post it as a feature request, but it feels more like a bug. And that would be a weird feature request.)

(There's an analogous case, where instead of using a line you use a shape, and fill the shape with a TOC. I'm also not sure that's really useful, but it at least makes more sense than putting a TOC on/around a line, so probably is worth keeping.)

And, yes, this is minor.

There isn't much use to it, but I'm not convinced it's a bug (I mean, it kind of works....)

You could maybe go as far as to say ToC should be disabled with the artistic text object, as it ideally should always be in a frame. That being said if it works then there's a good chance someone could have used it and disabling it could cause confusion. I'll bring it up with the devs
