Macro import seems to be broken

Recommended Posts

Hi. First post here, so clearly I am new to this!

Firstly, I am on the latest 1.8.3.641

I logged onto the affinity website, downloaded their free macro pack from the store (jr Macros), and tried to import.

* import dialog cannot find my downloaded file. I noted the selection filter you use is *.afmacro. The downloaded file is called jr-channels.afmacros. There is No way of selecting this file without renaming it

* After renaming, import actually does nothing. No errors. No Warnings. Nothing

Did I do something wrong?

thanks

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

There are .afmacro files, and there are .afmacros files. The first holds one macro; the second holds 1 or more macros.

You downloaded a .afmacros file. You would import that using the Library studio panel, not the Macro studio panel.

Aah perfect. Suspected there was a reason for this. Thanks all 🙂
