Try opening the Windows Task Manager (or the Mac equivalent). Adjust your windows so that both Photo and Task Manager are visible.

Now restart your panorama and monitor RAM usage in Task Manager. If it gets too close to your maximum installed RAM, then you know you are putting too much strain on your system. if usage stays low, then it is probably something else.You could also try monitoring CPU usage as well..

My apologies for the delayed response here, I can see you've posted a very similar thread in the iPad section of our forums - 

 

Can you please confirm for me, is this issue you're having happening on both the desktop and iPad for you, or only one of these?
What image type are you using, and what camera do these originate from?
