Recreating Airbnb Logo in Affinity Designer

Hello,

I am trying to re-create the airbnb logo, but I am currently struggling as you cannot combine shapes easily in Affinity Designer the way you can in Illustrator. Does anyone know how to re-create it properly using Designer?

I am trying to do the same in Designer.

From a short test I did myself you do not need combining shapes. I did it with the Triangle Tool, the Corner Tool and the Node Tool. Make a triangle, make rounded corners top, left and right, add a node at the bottom and twist the lines there.

But then the twist in the middle is not perfect, as is the top is not round.

There are several ways to get to this result. I prefer doing the basic shapes with the Smart Objects, and then do the rest adjusting the Nodes and Curves. I think I got a pretty close result that way:
