Team,

Okay, because I am as guilty as all of us at one time or another of saving a file accidentally without looking at what directory we are in then later on not being able to find the file.

Yes, I know we can always reopen it under “Open Recent” but what if it has gone off of that list? In addition having the file open does not tell you where it resides and in what directories.

In programs like “Pages” we can simply “command-click” on the icon to the left of the file name at the top to get the path to the current directory for the file but I have not been able to find a way to do this within Affinity Designer because there is no icon because the Designer screen is not a file but a file holder. Even if more than one file is open you still can not do this.

Besides, “Open Recent” only shows the name of the file and not the path to it.

Is the file path available somehow? If so how do we access it?
