Not as many tools in toolbar as others?

Recommended Posts

Hello Friends,

I have started using "Affinity Designer" just over a couple weeks. I've been watching tutorials on sites such as Youtube to get more of a understanding and connection with the program.

Now, I have noticed that I do not have as many tools in my toolbar as others that I've seen in videos. I have opened up my "View bar" and gone down to the "Customize toolbar" where you can add more tools to your immediate toolbar or take away tools of your choosing from the extra bar into your immediate toolbar. Again, I still don't seem to have as many tools in my extra toolbar that I can move over into my immediate bar as other people seem to have.

Why would this be? I have version 1.8. Do I need to import more tools somehow? Are there extra tools hidden somewhere? Or perhaps do I have to buy more tools?

Thanks for reading and any advice or help in advance!

Affinity Designer has the Draw persona, and the pixel persona, it could be they were in the pixel persona or they were in Affinity Photo which has more tools in the customise toolbar area.

These are the items for Affinity Photo
