Once you change the colour of the text all text attributes are unlinked (such as the font, font size, bold, italic, underlining and the actual text itself)

Other attributes such as the text frame (eg background text colour) and transform/constraints (e.g. positioning, flipping, rotating, size of text frame etc) remain linked.

There is no way to relink the text frame (with the changed colour) so that the other text attributes such as the font, font size, bold, italic, underlining and the actual text itself are relinked but the colour of the text remains changed as required.

If you need to reset all changed text in one symbol to the original symbol select one of the text frames that was unchanged, duplicate it and delete the original text frame. Symbols where you had previously changed the colour of the text will now have that text layer deleted and a new original text layer created.

Not great but for now I dont know of any other way

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
