The affinity help file is quite sparse and I keep finding that when I want to automate a complex procedure somewhere along the line I meet a greyed out box or a dialog which says a step can't be recorded. Is there a list anywhere of what does or doesn't work so I can plan to avoid hitting a wall halfway through?

No, but many of the things is says "cant be done" can be done by using the main Menu & dropdown functions plus other workarounds discovered over the years,so when you get stuck just post on the forum to see if someone can help you

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Still it would be great to have a post listing all of macro functions and their method of access, merging the data that is scattered over the forum into one single post, maybe this one could be that post. Maybe the devs or mods could load some data sheets, there must be more info than is contained in the help files.
