balqan Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 I just finished a file in AP and when I try to export it to PDF it gives an error. Quote An error occurred while exporting to: I tried other files, older one and new ones, and they seem to work. The problem is with this file. Is there a way to debug and see what causes the error? PS: I'm using AP 1.8.3 Quote
balqan Posted April 5, 2020 Author Posted April 5, 2020 I found the problem, it was caused by the images that I cropped in the Photo persona. I had to rasterize them in order for the PDF export to work. This might be a bug. Quote
balqan Posted April 5, 2020 Author Posted April 5, 2020 Here is part of the image that I can share that causes the problem. In case an Affinity developer wants to take a look at this. Quote
thomaso Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 I am sure your error did not occur because of a particular motive, of specific colors or shapes shown in the image but rather depends in the way the file was edited in AP, respectively its layers etc. (the JPG you have uploaded is not able to tell any reason for this error). The best and easiest way for community users or developers (not "User" or "Member" under their name) to review your issue would be to upload the document. Because you just mentioned in another of your threads the privacy of this image: To avoid public viewing you possibly can re-create the issue with a different motive? Also, occasionally developers post an upload link for affected user documents. Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
