hard to getting started

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody!

I'm new in here and the affinity photo is a first photo editing program I've ever tried. So, here comes my question. Is there any shortcuts to go one step back, if you do some mistakes? When I started to editing my first picture I must close picture every time I made a mistake because I did't found any way to cancel my selections. Then I found some history section from right side the app, but there still some issues to cancel every selections. Example I import a new picture on affinity and first I'm gonna use some of blur filters. When I'm apply my selection example the "diffuse glow", it will appear in the history section as a first action and that means there is no way to go to an original picture. I'm sorry about my english. This was a very hard to explain, but I hope there is someone who catch my point!

⌘ (cmd) + Z, one of the most important shortcuts you'll use every day.

I spend a lot of time on Vimeo, watching the 180 tutorials and tips videos by Affinity (macaffinity). Here is an oldie but goodie on history. It is also mentioned in other videos, but this one is specifically on undo history. There are a couple of YouTube tutorials that are outstanding too. These videos help me a lot.
