thomas1005
hello, i am starting to switch to affinity, because it has a wider feature set for 32bit images. somehow, i am having trouble creating and adjusting layer masks currently, i have a layer mask, which is a bit greyish, and i would like to get more contrast in it by making curve adjustments. what i would do in photoshop: - alt-click the layer mask -> shows the layer mask as black/white image, CHECK this work the same way in affinity - go to image/adjustments/curves, and do my curves. this is what i am unable to perform in affinity. if i use the curves from the adjustments window, it creates a new adjustment layer, instad of modifying my layer mask. SO... Question: is it possible to adjust my layer mask with curves?
NotMyFault
It is possible. Just change the “channels” from “master” to ”alpha” and the curve will affect the mask instead of image.
