mutaforme Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 (edited) Hi, I should prepare some tutorials and I need to put several arrows on my pictures. I would like to use Affinity Photo. The problem is that every time that I open a new image I have to select the tool, select the type of line, type of arrow, select the size and more. This is quite annoying. Is it possibile to save the options for the next time? Edited April 3, 2020 by mutaforme Sempervivum 1 Quote
GarryP Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 There are probably many ways to do what you want. One way would be to create a Style and then apply that style to every line you want that style to be applied to. Another option might be to create an Asset and drag a new copy of the asset onto the document where required. There may be other ways. If neither of these works for you then we might need more specific details. Quote
mutaforme Posted April 4, 2020 Author Posted April 4, 2020 (edited) Hi, Thank you for the prompt answer. I found what I need (in Edit-->Defaults-Syncronize from selection-Save) . The only problem is that it does not save the Mode (I need Line mode but it returns to Pen Mode when I restart the program). Edited April 4, 2020 by mutaforme Quote
GarryP Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 You're welcome. I think the “Defaults” only refers to the formatting – stroke colour, stroke width, etc. – rather than the tool settings as this function is not tool-related. I don’t think there’s a way to change the default Mode for the Pen Tool but some other tool settings are saved – Snap, for example – so maybe others should be also. Quote
