heartstonks
There is no clone / healing brush in affinity designer: for that, you'd have to use Affinity photo.
DM1
They work fine in photo but you need to set the selection point with your finger. You cannot set it with the Apple Pencil. Something to do with pencil not registering a long press I think. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). You have to make a selection with your finger not the pencil. The inpainting brush works well with the Apple Pencil on the iPad but it is a pain to figure out how to use the Clone Brush Tool with the Apple Pencil. Is this is bug or am I not doing something correctly?

Press finger on screen and a loupe appears with a crosshair in the centre. Slide your finger to move the loupe and place the crosshair on the pixel you wish to clone. Set your width and start painting on the empty pixel layer. 🙂 IMG_7839.MP4 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
