Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Edward McNally.

They're working for me on Windows. What OS are you on, and which store did you purchase the applications from?

Edward, in what way do they not work as expected?
In other words, what are you doing and what do you think should happen when you do it?
Also, as Walt asked above, which OS are you using and where did you get the applications from (Serif or an App Store)?

I updated Photo, Designer, and Publisher to 1.8.3 and the hand and magnifying glass 🔎 resize functions do not work as expected.

One thing I notice is that a double tap on the Hand tool gives me 100% view which is the same as a double tap on the Zoom tool. I expect the hand tool to go to a Fit to Screen zoom. Maybe I am wrong in my expectation.

The other thing I notice is that the zoom tool gives me the wrong zoom readout, not the actual zoom when I select it. If the zoom is 400% and I select the zoom tool I see 100% in the readout.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

For me (Windows), double-clicking the Zoom Tool gives me 100% zoom; double-clicking the View Tool gives me "fit to screen".

Also my expectation that the hand should cause "fit to screen", but no. Plus I get the 100% readout.

Thus my original post.  The update in 1.8.1 broke them. 1.8.2 fixed them, and 1.8.3 broke them again.

I posted my configurations yesterday, but they don't seem to be here, so once again. I am running OS X 10.13 6 on an iMac.

I purchased Photos and Designer from the Apple Store and Publisher from Serif.  All three are version 1.8.3.

Thanks for confirming that with your specs Edward - I can see the development log was marked as fixed by our devs and then re-opened for further investigation by our QA team, as the Pan Tool (Hand) double click functionality is still incorrect, and the zoom readout is reporting a few steps behind the actual view.

I'll bump this thread with your report now, and we hope to have this resolved shortly. My apologies for any inconveniences caused in the meantime!
