Ahh, thanks! But I still would not mind it in the Paragraph panel (and other similar panels) if only to reduce the need for mouse movement. I could do a keyboard shortcut (which I prefer over the mouse for most things) but if I am mousing around in a panel to tweak a style, I figure I'm right there and the drop down is only a tiny bit away.

But if you're in the Paragraph panel you are not tweaking a text style. You are overriding any applied style and directly updating one small part of your text.

If your intent is to tweak a text style, you should be in the Text Styles panel.

I was really tweaking the paragraph style, as in the video. I am heavily into styles and usually, everything in my finished work is assigned a style with zero overrides. Not even a Command+b for bold -- I make a bold style. I have to play around with Designer and learn the difference between, for example, adjusting a paragraph in the Text Styles panel and the same paragraph in the Paragraph panel. My attachment to styles comes from years of receiving resumés from self-proclaimed "Word experts" yet everything was the Normal style with manual overrides.
