I designed a book cover in affinity designer using vector and pixel based images. When I export to PDF (regardless of which option I choose) it pixelates the vector image (author logo - bottom left) within the cover and the resolution is bad despite it being set at 300 DPI, no compression and no raster. Please help.

Hi WGD,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Do you have applied any layer effects to the logo or changed/used an uncommon blend option in some of the elements composing the logo? All layer effects and some blend modes (not supported by PDF) force the rasterisation of the vector objects. Without seeing the file it's difficult to say what's causing the issue. Can you attach the file? I can provide an upload link if you wish to keep the file private.

It would not be appropriate to add another type of display to the Export Persona - something like Outline, where objects would be displayed according to the type of export (vector, raster).

I think other users would also appreciate it.

The layers at issue do not have any pixel properties, solely vector. MEB if you could please provide the upload link I would be able to share the file. Thanks!
