Helmar Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 If I have a bullet whose size is larger than the following text, how can I align it with the centerline of the first line? Is there any way to adjust the vertical alignment of a bullet? Quote
walt.farrell Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 This is probably another variant of a question that has come up several times, of having a bullet with different characteristics from the text that follows. E.g., a bullet that is bold, when the text isn't (or vice versa), or a bullet with a different color from the text. The answer to that question is always that you should create a Character text style for the bullet, and specify the desired characteristics there. Then, in the Paragraph text style for the bulleted text you can specify that character style in the Bullets and Numbering section of the definition: For your case, you could create a Character text style for your bullets, and in the text style definition you can adjust the positioning of the bullet using the Position and Transform section of the Character text style definition. You can adjust its baseline, for example, which should give the effect you want.
