Hello,

I have 10 photos in my collection and I started to work the first image.

I set up some adjustments layers that I grouped.

Now the first image is done, I would like to « copy » the group where I have all my adjustments to the next image.

I thought about open 2 Affinity Photo iPad, with these 2 images (done and new). Then drag and drop to the new images.

But we can’t open 2 affinity photo on iPad...

Do you have a solution for that on Affinity Photo iPad please ?

Thanks

If you have all the adjustments in an Affinity Photo file you can export to a LUT from the Documents menu. Once created you can then import them using the LUT adjustment to apply to the other images.

Hi, thanks for you suggestion.

I didn’t find the option to export to LUT in the Documents menu.

You can see, in my attached files the group adjustments layer and the export screen.

is it on iPad ?

How to import LUT on iPad ?

I think I finally found the option, but there is no mention about LUT (in french version : it’s « exporter la table de conversion »)

And once it’s exported, I’m not able to import it... (the filename is foobar.cube)

(still on iPad)

Oooook ! Finally found it because of you, I found it based on his cube icon on your screenshots.

in French version, LUT is named « Table de conversions ».

Thank you very much. I learned something new today.

LUT is 'Look Up Table' in English.  'Chercher en haut' table.  Google translates as look up table.
Table de conversions I think loosely translates to Conversion tables, which describes what luts do. Perhaps the developers should have just used 'LUT' for simplicity.😄

Yes, Indeed!!

Now I have another problem about LUT

I have a black and white adjustment. I hide all layers except this one.

I go to the documents menu > LUT then Now I see the cat preview but it’s color not black and white.

i save it anyway then import it to the other file.

then now I load, I see the adjustment layer, but my photo doesn’t not turn « black and white ».

why?

What I’m missing in the export ?

sounds like you may not have selected the black/while filter layer before exporting the lut. It should be highlighted.

The reason is that you have the b/w filter inside a group. Drag the b/w filter and place it above the group layer.

Ok, got it.

Indeed, it works outside group(s).

But it’s a shame... We should be able to export from any group by selecting only needed adjustments (or even the entire group of adjustments).

Because sometimes/often we organize layers then only after, we decide to export adjustments...

What do you think? This can not be improvement feature?

Joining this late but I assume you did try using the Commands->Pasteboard->Copy in one document and Commands->Pasteboard->Paste in the other to copy the adjustments from one document to another?

That would certainly work Paul, but doesn't allow you to store and then reload the stored 'effects' later. Could you save the effects to a template perhaps and then simply add the background image?

I agree. This could be perceived as a bug.

@Lee D Lee, should we be able to export lut from a grouped effects? It doesn’t currently work.
