Juan T Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Hi, What Affinity products is best for Web Develoeprs? Also can Affinity Publisher do what Sketch can do like the Hero/Banner background image of https://fontawesome.com/ assuming I already the icons? Quote
firstdefence Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Welcome to the forum Juan, Affinity Designer is a more comparable match to sketch and Affinity Designer would be able to design the graphic/background so that you can export it for use in a web design app like Blocs (Mac) Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... Juan T Posted March 31, 2020 Author Posted March 31, 2020 What added benefits does buying Affinity Publisher as well with Designer? Quote
Dan C Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 Hi Juan T Affinity Publisher is more designed for Desktop Publishing, however Publisher has StudioLink which allows you to access the main features of both Designer & Photo (provided you have purchased all 3 apps) without leaving Publisher! I recommend downloading our free trials (currently 90 days in length) and trying this out for yourself https://affinity.serif.com/90-day-affinity-trial/ Quote
Myk Melodies Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 What about Affinity Web? we are still waiting... Quote
John Rostron Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 Why are you waiting? Serif have consistently said that they are not developing a Web program. John Quote Windows 11, Affinity Photo 2.4.2 Designer 2.4.2 and Publisher 2.4.2 (mainly Photo). CPU: Intel Core i5 8500 @ 3.00GHz. RAM: 32.0GB DDR4 @ 1063MHz, Graphics: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
Myk Melodies Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 heart broken...Please show me, I have not seen any such report? Quote
iMatt Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 In the absence of 'Affinity Web', could I suggest you use WYSIWYG Web Builder? It works like a basic DTP program with regards placement and moving of elements. If you've used InDesign, QuarkXpress and indeed Affinity Publisher, it'll come pretty easy. WYSIWYG Web Builder works very well with the entire Affinity range. Quote
