However, when I try to upload to Google Photos or open in another program, this extension isn't recognized. Is there a way to save as something other than ".afinity"? Paul Bravery Posted July 22, 2015 Share Posted July 22, 2015 Hi Hemlock, Welcome to the forum. .afphoto or .afdesign are the native extensions for each app. If you have ever used Gimp, a similar thing happens with its native file format! For images to post on line, you need to export the file to the desired format, not save or save as: Alternatively, you could use the 'Share' function in the File menu: Hope this helps. Paul.
