I'm not at my v2 installation right now, so I don't know if this, uh… critical bug has been "fixed" in v2 already.

Hm. Turns out they "fixed" the part that didn't need "fixing", but still left the now useless Text Frame button on the context toolbar. :/

Does this make it a bug in a bug or a partially fixed bug on its way of becoming a useful feature being intentionally disabled. If this is really a selling point needing a fix, why not do it so that the feature that is already implemented would be available if Publisher is installed, and otherwise hidden. The same principle could then be applied also for e.g. having Live Filters available in the Layers panel of Publisher (without Persona) and Designer, and other similar cases where already implemented features are just hidden for apparent commercial reasons (like being able to convert a pixel layer to an image layer also in Designer and Photo, which based on this fix might also become "fixed" in a similar fashion=.

It would certainly create even more inconsistencies, especially in the documentation and the help files. Since otherwise I actually praise Serif's efforts to keep each app of the trinity focused, it would be only consistent when they remove such accidental featur… er,  bugs. The personae/apps switching is usually seamless and troublefree otherwise, so there's not that much extra steps necessary anyway. Often I'd be switching back from B to A only while noticing a "missing" step in B available in A.
