Hello!

I have tried to figure out how to install a language dictionary by reading a bunch of posts in this forum. Sorry, but I did not find the answer. I´m on a Mac, and according to one of the posts I read, Publisher should work with what is installed on the system. I´m in Sweden, I have a working Swedish dictionary installed at system level, but when I choose Swedish in Publisher, it does not work.

I have seen Hunspell mentioned in posts and where to download dictionary languages for Libre Office, but I have not found instructions on how to install these files downloaded from GitHub. Maybe this is only for PC?

Here is a little thought from a basic users point of view. In Publisher, it seems that besides graphics and layout, language and spelling is pretty important. I would love to see a collection of menu functions handling languages and dictionaries in the main text menu where you also find spelling. For me it would make sense to gather everything that has to do with language management there. Just a thought =)

If I have missed the magical post that explains what I´m asking for, please post a link. If any one can add to prior posts on the subject to clarify how I can get Swedish (or any language/dictionary) working on Mac, I´m super grateful.

Cheers!

You're welcome.

That one's in the FAQ forum, which is not that long (only 4 pages) :)
