Could someone please tell me why the 'Show AF Regions' option in the Develop Persona is always greyed out for me?

I have tried photos that are RAW files from a Sony A57 (.ARW) and RAW from Fuji HS20 (.RAF).

I also have a problem with the Focus Points greying out.

I am using a Canon 70D.

The focus points show up in Canon DPP4 as well as Apple Aperture.

Other lens information such as Focal Length is shown OK.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread. However, I've been testing on both 1.8.3 production vs Beta version of Affinity Photo.  None of them allow me to tick the check box for Show AF focus.

File is in NEF

Camera: D850, 70-200 lens.

Photo read camera metadata information and lens, and shot, but not allow to look for focus.

What happen?
