wwinter86
Hi, Could someone please tell me why the 'Show AF Regions' option in the Develop Persona is always greyed out for me? I have tried photos that are RAW files from a Sony A57 (.ARW) and RAW from Fuji HS20 (.RAF). IgoreKpa
Staff MEB Posted July 26, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 26, 2015 Hello wwinter86, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) That's probably because those cameras don't embed AF regions in the metadata, and so the panel is greyed out. wwinter86 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference
wwinter86
Ah ok, it would good if Affinity could display focus point without the metadata.
zibrah
Hi, I have the same problem with a d300s, the focus points show in CNX2 and Lightroom... is it a bug maybe?
coranda
I also have that checkbox greyed out for Canon 5D III. Focus points show up in Aperture ok.
cameraman
Hi I also have a problem with the Focus Points greying out. I am using a Canon 70D. The focus points show up in Canon DPP4 as well as Apple Aperture. Other lens information such as Focal Length is shown OK.
daklakfoto
Sorry to resurrect this old thread. However, I've been testing on both 1.8.3 production vs Beta version of Affinity Photo. None of them allow me to tick the check box for Show AF focus. File is in NEF Camera: D850, 70-200 lens. Photo read camera metadata information and lens, and shot, but not allow to look for focus. What happen?
