Dean Reardon Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Version: Win 1.8.2.62 1) Pexels is not working..."connection failure". It didn't work in 1.8, then upgraded and it did work, upgraded to newest version 1.8.2.62 and not working again 2. Unsplash - If I have the stock panel on the left side of my screen in a panel container (not a floating panel) where it runs the full length of the screen , I don't have any scroll bars for the Unsplash stock panel (even though I know there are many more images available than what is shown). But if I do a search on Pixabay, I do have scrollbars. If I make the stock panel a floating panel or put it into a smaller panel container on the right side of my screen, then I do get scroll bars with the Unsplash stock viewer. Neither are a major issue but are kind of an annoyance. Although I do wish I could have Pexels search working again. Quote
Aammppaa Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 1) A quick search of the forum will show numerous users reporting this for quite a while now. Here is an Affinity response… Sean P 1 Quote Win10 Home x64 | AMD Ryzen 7 2700X @ 3.7GHz | 48 GB RAM | 1TB SSD | nVidia GTX 1660 | Wacom Intuos Pro
Staff Sean P Posted March 31, 2020 Staff Posted March 31, 2020 Hi Dean Reardon, As Aammppaa has said the Pexels issue is currently being investigated. With regards to the scrollbar using Unsplash I've reproduced this and will get it passed on. Thanks for letting us know. Quote
2989 Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 I Getting very strange issues with the stock photos in Designer Latest 1.9.3 on an iMac - 1) I do a search and some images appear and then everything disappears. It is very Unstable. I then have to open up Stock again and do the search again. Designer also crashed 1x during this. 2) I did a search for Sewing machines and I got bicycles.... 3) In Pixabay I did a search for dress forms and found one I liked, it did not open. I got the name of the file but it wouldn't open (This has been happening for quite awhile and I believe it has something to do with how the images saved. Can Serif please contact Pixabay and kindly request that Pixabay ask their contributors to save in a format that can be used by Affinity.) After all Serif is promoting Pixabay yet some of Pixabays images won't work with Serif. Quote
