Konspaul Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 "Decrease/increase brush width with on-screen readout = Alt + right button down + drag (left/right)" doesn't seem to work in Win 10, Affinity Photo and with Wacom intuos pro med Pen. It works when I do it with my mouse. So something is wring with the settings but I don't know what. Could you help me please? Also I kinda liked how this feature worked in Mac by pressing CMD + OPT. When can I change these key bindings in Affinity settings? Quote
walt.farrell Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Sorry, but I don't know of a way to change those key bindings on the mouse. As I understand it, Serif was forced to use both mouse buttons because PCs don't have as many modifier keys as the Mac has. As for your Wacom problem: The current Affinity applications have some issues with their use of Windows Ink. They now have changed to using Windows Ink by default to get pressure sensitivity for brushes, and accurate position information. But using Windows Ink causes other problems, and the inability to change the brush size using the stylus is one of them, I think. If you search the forum you can probably find other reports of that. You might try going into your Affinity Preferences, Tools tab, and turning off the option to "Use Windows Ink for tablet input" and see how that works for you. Konspaul Posted April 1, 2020 Author Posted April 1, 2020 Looks like disabling Windows Ink settings in Wacom AND Affinity allowed me to change the brush tip size by dragging and also enabled pressure sensitivity. ❤ walt.farrell 1 Quote
