DannyBCreative
Bought both apps yesterday in hopes of replacing the very expensive Adobe offerings. So far, I'm happy for the most part. Bought Designer first, and broke it in by re-drawing my bands logo. From this logo, I made a tri-color t-shirt logo as well. I'll post that too, if anyone would like to see how that came out. This logo was done entirely in Affinity Designer. No other apps or freehand drawing was done. peter
hukes
Pretty cool! It would be nice to see the logo before the redrawing, as well as the tri-color t-shirt logo.

The original logo was tiny on the bands website: www.lbfdpipeband.org. The tri-color logo was created for embroidery on hats, as well as printed on the band's "member" shirts. I can't seem to attach it to this post. Bummer.
eejits
Cool lookin logo, particulary like the flame effect. Did it take you long to recreate it in new software? peter
Export your file as jpg or png, if you want to display the image. To simply upload the file, for others to use/study, follow George's advice and upload the AP/APh file. It didn't take me too long, but I think that's because I felt pretty comfortable with the software already. After using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for a long, long time, this software felt pretty natural. It actually feels more intuitive actually. Although there are tools I wish both Affinity programs had, I was able to figure out "work-arounds" failry quickly. My experience with Adobe Illustrator is minimal compared to my experience with Photoshop, so the transition to Affinity Designer is a bit easier. Thanks for the comment, and for the info on the "More Reply Options" thingy. Cheers! Attached is the Tri-Color version for hats and T-shirts.
