When you select the eye dropper tool, you are wanting to see the ink values in the info palette. It would be good if, upon selecting the eye dropper tool, the info palette is automatically selected. I normally use that tool if I want to pick up a color from the document, and rarely even use it as a tool. I had to go back and remind myself that the Info palette existed; I never really use it for anything so I keep it hidden to reduce clutter in the UI... If this feature is added, I think it needs to be as a preference. It does make sense if someone relies on that palette in that manner, but I don't think everyone would appreciate this behavior.
