Hey there!  I'm not sure what to call my issue so it's a little hard to google it myself. When I use the brush tool in Designer 1.8.3 beta, the line does not stay exactly where I put it - it alters itself ever so slightly.... I'm sure it's related to the amount of give and take in the brush properties... Is there a way to make it stay true to the path I put it on?

Sounds like curve smoothing that is applied to remove jitter. As far as I know that cannot be turned off.

In addition to what firstdefence said above, there are three Brush Tools in Designer, the Vector Brush Tool in the designer Persona, and the Paint Brush Tool and Selection Brush Tool in the Pixel Persona. They all have different options in their own Context Toolbars which could be causing this. One thing to check is if you have the Stabiliser switched on. This could account for your line not going where you expect.

Also, using a tablet with certain settings (pressure etc.) could make a difference between what you expect and what you see with certain brushes/settings.

We don’t have enough information to tell really. If you can upload a video/GIF showing what happens we might be able to give more specific advice.
