Bernard GILLY
La dernière version n'arrête pas de planter. L'application est totalement figée dès lors que l'on déplace des calques ! Obligé de passer par le gestionnaire de fin de tâche de Windows.
Staff Chris B Posted March 29, 2020 Staff Share Posted March 29, 2020 Hey Bernard GILLY, welcome to the Affinity forums. Does this happen repeatedly with a particular document or does it happen if you make a new document, add 2 pixel layers and move them? Can you give us some specs on your machine and let us know what input devices you're using? Bernard GILLY
This happens when I open tiff documents. This did not happen under the previous version. I just tested with create new document, create multi layer and drag/move it without problem.
Staff Chris B Posted April 2, 2020 Staff Share Posted April 2, 2020 Are the TIFF documents large in size? Can you attach one or even better, an .afphoto file so I can attempt this? Thanks Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials

Staff Chris B Posted April 6, 2020 Staff Share Posted April 6, 2020 Hey Bernard GILLY, Do you work with floating documents from Window > Float or Float All? I can only reproduce this when my documents float. If I dock them, it doesn't freeze. Bernard GILLY
I confirm : This problem appears only when floating window... I hope that this problem can be fixed because it deprives the use of several screens as well as being able to dissociate the window tools from the working window. Best regards, Bernard Chris B and PaulAffinity 1
Staff Chris B Posted April 7, 2020 Staff Share Posted April 7, 2020 Hi Bernard, Depending on how desperate you are to work with floating document tabs, you can download and install the beta if you wish as the issue has been fixed: I do not know when this fix will make its way to the retail version.
