Chuck V
Is it possible to launch the software via a script and have the software execute some batch processing and save the results? I'm new so I may have missed it. Basically not using the UI to select files and operations, but have that sent in via command line (or some form of a file that indicates the batch commands). riveryeti

There is no scripting support built into the app. You can use macros with batch processing but macros cannot open or save files, nor is there any way to automate adding files to batch processes. riveryeti
This is a feature I would love too. I really like how darktable uses darktable-cli for scripting, but they don't auto-apply levels/curves adjustments to raw (at least for arw) as well as affinity does. I do projects with thousands of images at a time that would be way easier to manage with this feature.
