Place all the images using Place Image Tool instead of clicking or dragging

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Is there any way to place all the images selected using Place Image Tool by clicking only once? Otherwise, we need to  click on the canvas (or click and drag) for each image. If the in a single click all the images are placed (maybe with a modifier key), it will be helpful.

Regards,

Anupam Bordoloi

Hi Anupam :)

Unfortunately the only option currently is to single-click to place at the original size, or click and drag to draw the placed object into your document, my apologies.

I'll move this to the feedback section of our forums for our devs to see and consider adding in the future!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

I think that rather than placing all the selected images in one place, from where they have to move further, it would be handy if the selected images were gradually placed in the correct place by successive clicks.

If one were using Publisher, and Placing images into Picture Frames, it would be nice if one could

  • setup a Master Page with the Picture Frames, then
  • create one document page, then
  • select a bunch of images, then
  • click in the first Picture Frame with the Place Image Tool

and have Publisher fill the rest of the Picture Frames on that page, and create additional pages as needed, until all the selected photos have been Placed.
