Hello, I have a logo created in AI which I can open in Designer.  I can also scale it up and down.  I want to  be able to save it as png with transparent background to be used on a website.  Can’t seem to be able to do that.  I go to File > Export & select PNG but transparent background is not an option.  So basically I want to take a vector image and save it as a raster image with transparent background.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thx!

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Transparent Background is a Document attribute in Affinity, not an attribute of an export format. In Designer, try the menu File > Document Setup... and then look in the Color tab and check the Transparent Background box.

Hi I have downloaded a Shutterstock image with the chequered background into Affinity Designer but it doesn't appear as transparent, whereas other transparent images do open up as transparent, could someone help. I have signed up and downloaded directly from Shutterstock I simply want to see the bars in the image without the background. The image of the guy had the same chequered background but open up  without it.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Gary. :)

Are you sure you downloaded the correct file, not just the preview image? :/

Since this is a public forum, I recommend that you remove the commercial stock image of Mr Motivator from your post.
