Hi iPa640,
Would you be able to record some footage that shows the issues you're having with Snap to Grid please? See this link to record on the iPad: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT207935

Please ensure that you have gone into Document > Snapping and enabled both 'Snapping' and 'Snap to grid' - Snap to grid is actually off by default.

Here you are

Thank you for your support

Thanks for the video - I see what you mean now! Can you just confirm the snapping works as expected if you zoom out a way - enough to see the heavier and lighter grid lines.

I believe this is only happening when zoomed in, and is snapping to individual points. There is an issue that grids are failing to display when below a certain threshold, which I think is what is happening to the divisions. So I believe the snapping is correct, its just failing to display the grid divisions to which it is snapping to.

Yes, if you are zoomed out a lot, that work as expected, but the zoom factor that enable this behaviour depends on the grid settings too, so it’s very difficult to predict the behaviour. One thing is sure is that begin too early! I have tried many settings value with auto and standard mode grid, please could you  try there is really something to improve, not really usable now.
If I setup my grid for spacing and divisions I don’t expect to get more division than my setup !
Maybe a solution could be to have a switch to activate or disable this behavior ( auto grid subdivision ). I hope you understand what I mean.
