uMagix Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 I just bought AD for Mac and after using Corel Draw on windows since 1995, just wanted to use mouse scroll to to zoom at any time. Surely found the section in Preferences/ Tools/ Use mouse wheel to zoom Ticked the box and it doesn't work. I thought ok, this is pretty bad software must be like 20 years behind Corel, so I probably need to close it and open it again to make it work. No, it didn't help. Closed it, re opened, nothing. Ok, shut down the system and restart, nothing. The box is ticked but function doesn't work. Bad start, maybe I should stick with free Inkscape? Any idea? I know you get dummer when you switch to Mac but I just used it for few weeks and I feel like I had lobotomy. Quote
R C-R Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 That option is working fine on my Mac, tested both with a regular wheel mouse & with my Kensington "Expert Mouse" with a scroll ring around its trackball. What kind of mouse (brand & model) are you using? Does it use or need any special driver software to activate all of its functions, & if so is it up-to-date & compatible with your Mac OS version?
