Tony Cotterill Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Hi everyone. Just a thought about masters. Do masters always have to go at the back of a page? I know historically in layout packages this is the case but Affinity has been pushing some boundries so I wondered. If I have a multi layered Master and need variable layers on subsequent pages to go UNDER pages on the master's common layers is this possible? I suspect not ATM, but it's worth asking someone who knows. Cheers, Tony Quote
GarryP Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 (edited) Master pages can go anywhere in the layer stack. Just drag them in the Layers Panel to wherever you want them to be. If you need some parts to be above what’s on the page, and others below, then you will probably need to split the master page content between master pages and apply both masters to the spreads. Tony Cotterill Posted March 22, 2020 Author Posted March 22, 2020 Thanks Garry. You know.... that should have been obvious... but somehow I never thought of it. Splendid! Quote
